Washington Contemporary Ballet School offers a diverse curriculum in dance education. Historically we have provided a strong foundation in Classical Ballet training and performing experience. Our students develop into well-rounded dancers with additional education in Flamenco, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Tap.
Our instructors come from varied backgrounds and offer diversity through their own experience and training. Our students become life-long artists, develop a strong appreciation for their art, and seek new experiences to express themselves through dance or other art forms.

Basic Flamenco for All
Friday, August 26 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Instructor: Marisela Fleites-Lear
Open to All Ages: 6 to 100
$25 per person
One day Flamenco workshop designed for those who would like to try to learn a few Flamenco moves (even if you think you can't dance: Remember, we were BORN to dance (just watch little children) and then we were either repressed, shamed, not encouraged, or we simply didn't have the opportunity.)
This is an opportunity to try and learn some basic Flamenco moves! You have seen Flamenco shows, you have secretly wondered if you could move your hands and your feet like the dancers on the stage. Here is your chance to try it, in a friendly stress-free atmosphere.
