Washington Contemporary Ballet School offers a diverse curriculum. While our core function is to provide Classical Ballet training, our students also receive the highest caliber of education in 

Jazz, Tap, Flamenco and Modern Dance

Our instructors come from varied backgrounds and offer diversity through their own experience and training.  Of equal importance is the extraordinary choreography that is taught to our students which enables them to grow as artists and develop a stronger appreciation for their art.

CHILDREN'S STORYBOOK DANCE CAMP     JULY 6 - JULY 24
MASTER CLASS SERIES     JULY 6 - JULY 24
"A DRAGON'S TALE"  PERFORMING THEATRE CLASS     JULY 6 - JULY 17
DRAMA WORKSHOP    
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Fast paced and quick thinking group theatre games will introduce theatre to the young person interested in performing on stage.  

Instructor will present an introduction to vocal techniques, stage movement, and pantomime designed to improve acting skills.  

Students will participate in improvisational activities that inspire creative thinking and story telling in preparation for the stage experience! 
STAGE PRODUCTION CLASS
2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

A Dragon's Tale is a light-hearted fairytale with a twist!
A dragon is attacking the castle and burning up the Queen's roses, but no one is brave enough or strong enough to slay the dragon and save the Kingdom from destruction.  No one except a brave Princess!  But, "Young ladies don't slay dragons!" or do they? 

Find out as you met the zany fairytale characters that
offer up plenty of laughs, sword fighting, and 
pie-in-your-face moments that will keep the
 audience laughing long after the play is over.  Music
 and court dances of he period enhance this production.

SENIOR MASTER CLASSES
Intermediate/Advanced Level
Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Cost:  $395

Choreography Workshop during the first two hours of class prepare students to create their own choreography by selecting casting, music, choreographic style, costuming and technical aspects of their piece.  Selected pieces to be performed at the Student Showcase.

Three hour Master Classes taught by the area's outstanding instructors including Lorraine Constantine, Nathan Cook, Marianna Ramsour, and Danielle Wilkins.  
JUNIOR MASTER CLASSES
Beginner/Intermediate Level
Tuesdays & Thursdays,  5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Cost:  $150

Twice weekly class to prepare students for aspects of stage performance including a 90 minute technique class followed by 30 minutes of dance theme instruction such as  terminology, staging, and stage make-up techniques.
THREE WEEK SAMPLER DANCE SERIES    JULY 27 - AUGUST 12
  Mondays & Wednesdays                                    Sections:  Beginner or Intermediate/Advanced
  5:30 pm - 8:00 pm                                                                                                              Cost:  $180

All those dance styles that you have always wanted to try are here in a three week series.  
East section includes a total of twelve classes with two per evening
