Enrollment in the Washington Contemporary Ballet School is on a semester basis only. To register, complete both sides of the inserted registration form and return it to the WCBS office. A mandatory, annual insurance premium must be paid each school year. A non-refundable registration fee must accompany the form to reserve a place in the requested class for each semester or session. The Washington Contemporary Ballet School admits students of any race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available at the school.

Scholarship Information

A WCB scholarship provides financial assistance to those dancers who qualify, based on need, talent, and the ability to comply with school policies. All students are eligible to apply and the process is non-discriminatory. Selection will be based on a combination of the above criteria, the scholarship budget, and whether or not the student applying has been enrolled in the maximum number of classes and workshops available to them in the past. A maximum of 50% tuition reduction is possible. All scholarship recipients will be expected to assist at the studio in positions that include ballet mistress, rehearsal assistant, office assistant, costume assistant, and studio cleaning and maintenance.
